About Dr. Saeed

Muhammad U. Saeed, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in adult and geriatric psychiatry. With over twenty years of experience, he has treated diverse populations in various clinical settings.

Dr. Saeed completed his residency at the University of Texas at Houston in 2007 in general psychiatry and completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Miami in 2008. Dr. Saeed has held clinical and leadership positions at various organizations throughout his career.

Dr. Saeed is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to individual needs, with a strong emphasis on collaborative care. His special interests include but are not limited to treatment-resistant depression, postpartum depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and cognitive disorders. Dr. Saeed is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association and the North Carolina Psychiatric Association.
